With the big game only few weeks away, I am already gearing up. Oh no, you misunderstand me. I am not a huge football fan. Not a fan at all actually. I am a fan of the food the football parties revolve around though. My family makes appetizers and snacks together to get big game ready and then enjoys them during the game. Our favorite recipes are definitely dips! We do love to have a variety of food, but it’s important that we don’t spend all day in the kitchen and miss the game (my husband’s main concern)!
This year we have found some delicious Tyson® products that solve our dilemma. By choosing Tyson® products, we are able to get big game ready in no time with lots of delicious options to appease the whole family. They come together quickly and can be made in a variety of ways like oven or microwave.
The really nice part about Tyson® is that I was able to do all my shopping way ahead of time at Meijer and stow it in our freezer (underneath other items so my hubby wouldn’t find it, of course!). I picked up Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties, Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips, and Tyson®Buffalo Boneless Any’tizers. They were so easy to find at Meijer. From now until 2/6/16, you can save $1.50 on any 2 Crispy Chicken Strips or Any’tizers (excluding bone in-wings) or save $1.00 off 1 Ball Park Flame Grilled patty (find the coupons here). You can earn points with every purchase of Tyson®
Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties are ready in just about a minute in the microwave and made with premium meats. Perfect for getting that bold and juicy flame-grilled taste when it’s too cold to grill them yourself.
Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips have crispy, homestyle breading and 100% natural ingredients. They are made with chicken raised with no added hormones or steroids.
Tyson® Buffalo Boneless Any’tizers are made with all white meat chicken and protein packed. They come in many delicious varieties to please any taste.
To compliment the delicious food, I made up a garlic dip that works well as a sauce on burgers. It’s very easy to make and hardly takes any time at all. The best part is that you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry already!
Garlic Dip
1 c. mayo
1t. dried parsley
3t. minced garlic
1T. lemon juice
1/2t. salt
1/8t. pepper
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If possible, chill 30 minutes before serving.
