Elle from Elle Sees hosted a link up yesterday all about sharing the story behind the pic. I didn’t have a chance to share then, so I wanted to share today. I typically take my blog photos right when my ‘photographer’ (e.g. husband) comes home from work. That way we get what I wear each day and we don’t have to do one big photo session with multiple outfits from the week (when we can!). Lately our daughter has been wanting to be like mommy. She wants to put ‘lips’ on in the morning, use conditioner and hair spray in her hair, and wants her photo taken. Claire will throw a fit if she is left out of the photos! So in these she is occupying my usual space in front of the arbor vitae and I had to take a spot further down on the driveway. You can even tell when I am calling to her or watching her in a few of the pictures!
On to the outfit! I’ve wanted to pair these pants with mint for a while. Sometimes I feel stuck with brightly colored bottoms and stick to neutrals and navy. By branching out I found a new favorite combo and a great opportunity to wear my new wrap bracelet from my brother and his fiance. I am blessed to have a fabulous sister-in-law and future sister-in-law!
