How was your Labor Day weekend? We tried to make the most of ours and took Claire to a petting zoo with some friends of ours and their daughters. They had a blast feeding alpacas, goats, rabbits, camels, zebras, and so many other animals! We had some relatives stop by for lunch on Sunday and took it easy on Monday. Well, I took it easy. Matt has taken it upon himself to tear down the shed in our backyard. It’s getting replaced before colder weather sets in. It’s about time, too! I am not sure it would last another winter!
As the weather (eventually) cools down, I wanted to wear a few more of my summer items one more item. This skirt is one of them. It isn’t causal enough to pull off during the summer when I am home with my daughter so the first week of work it came out of the closet! In the past I have paired it with navy-a striped vest and denim jacket. I wanted to try some thing different this time. Because the skirt is so bold though, I shy away from pairing it with another bold color. This grey shirt is neutral and a great alternative to my navy staple.
