Having a fashion blog, I don’t often have the opportunity to write from the heart. Many times I use the verb, “love” when talking about clothing, but I think we all know that is an exaggeration and definite misuse of the word. With Father’s Day approaching I want to talk about someone I truly love. I am fortunate to have several people in my life to celebrate Father’s Day with including my own dad, grandpa, father-in-law, Matt’s grandpa, and quite a few uncles. Since our daughter was born though, I really enjoy being able to celebrate the day and honor my husband. He is the anchor in my life. The amount of things he puts up with from me he definitely deserved a whole day years before he became a father!
Not only is Claire fortunate to have a wonderful father who completely dotes on her, I have an amazing husband. He goes out of his way to do the majority of yard work, notices when I am tired and volunteers to make dinner (and clean up!), and really steps up when things need to be done around the house. Matt is our anchor. He’s the person we rely on and lean on when we need the extra support. And for all that he does I wanted to make sure he knew that he is appreciated.
I took a quick trip to Macy’s this past weekend and found the Nautica Voyage gift set right in the Men’s Fragrance section. Macy’s carries lots of great gift ideas so it is my go-to place whenever I need to get a present for someone! The gift set was easy to find and someone was right there to help me.
