Typically I try to cull my shopping urges around the holidays so I don’t inadvertently get an item someone else wanted to give to me, but when stores give me good coupons it’s out of my hands! JCP has really stepped up its game in recent years. It used to be a store in the mall you could for sure find a parking spot by, but now there are fantastic deals to be had! We signed up for the rewards program and I had rewards money to spend. It was burning a hole in my pocket and I was in the mall anyway getting a gift for someone so I had to pop in. There were 40% off signs everywhere and with an additional 25% off email this sweater jumped into my hands! I like the relaxed fit and neon detail. Somehow I ended up paying just over $2. Screw not shopping close to the holidays. That was clearly fate.

I paired my new sweater with a pretty pink lipstick from Two Faced in Melted Peony. Typically I like reds for fall and winter, but this was a refreshing change! It has a high pigmentation and really long wear! I liked the precision applicator, especially since I am not the most adept person applying make up! This will be a great color well into summer, whenever that decides to happen…
