I had the opportunity to try some skin care and make up items from Perfectly Posh this past week and really wanted to share my experiences. Although I certainly lack knowledge on skin care and make up, that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy pampering myself with nice smelling products! Even as a self-proclaimed dunce, I still try to purchase higher quality items and natural ingredients when possible. I’ve tried Arbonne and L’Bri products and while I liked it, it was fairly expensive to continue using it or use that brand exclusively.
Reading about Perfecly Posh products, there were a few things I really liked immediately. Their products are natural. Not tested on animals. All ingredients are brought to the USA for products to be made. And the best part? All products are under $25! You guys, I’ve been to those home parties where you search for that sole item in the catalogue for less than $20 because you don’t want to spend your whole paycheck (is that just me?). How exciting a company is finally working to make products for pampering ourselves with natural ingredients and in our price range!
Here is what I got to try and my thoughts:
Complexion Perfection (cleanser)-nice minty smell. This was a nice pick me up in the morning.
Moisturize 911 (facial moisturizer)-went on smoothly and my skin stayed moisturized all day.
Sweet Young Thing (serum)- I only had enough for a couple days so I am not sure of the long term benefits. I saw some improvement around/under my eyes.
Calm Down (facial mask)- this helped with some redness from acne and really moisturized my face.
Brazilian Bombshell (body butter)-nice, thick moisturizer with a tropical smell.
Fresh Creamy Milk (body butter)-I think this was my favorite product. It was a subtle lemony, milky scent and my legs were so silky smooth after using this! I would definitely buy!
The Daily Grind (body scrub)-coffee scented body scrub. It left me feeling soft and clean.
Snarky Bar (scrubby bar)-helped soften some rough skin on my elbows, knees, and feet. It had a really nice scent, too.
Posh Pink Lip Dye-watermelon scent with a sassy bright pink color. I give it props. It stayed on through my root beer float. I really liked it!
Overall, I was really impressed with the products I tried. They were all high quality and did what they were supposed to. If you are interested Jessica, my consultant, is hosting a Mystery Hostess party on facebook through September 24 where anyone can win free product. Some others that I am considering? The SeaWitch Face Mask, the Stripper DTox Body Mud, and the Wakey Wakey Skin Stick.
I was provided with samples, but all opinions are my own.
