Whenever we have guests, I always enjoy planning out the meal thinking about how formal or casual we want it to be and trying to keep the tastes of the guests in mind. When we had Yalanda and Jason from Laugh Anyway over last week we decided to try grilling individual pizzas.
These were really fun to make and it was nice that we could all customize our pizza with our tastes. We had ranch, BBQ sauce, pizza sauce, and pesto available for sauce and tomatoes, red onions, various types of basil, pepperoni, chicken, and cheese for toppings. We used naan as the bread dough. It worked really well, was the perfect size for an individual pizza, and was already baked so that meant no soggy crust! It also meant short grilling time.
Once we had our pizzas made the way we wanted, we placed them on a preheated grill for about 5 minutes or until the cheese was melted and the pizzas had warmed through.
With an appetizer and side salad, this was so easy to prep and turned out really tasty!
