I was contacted by Kendra Thorton, a well known travel expert, last week about a fashion challenge she is doing. The challenge is focused around her planning another trip using Gogobot, this time to The Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Theme Park in Florida. The challenge was to plan some looks for her vacation, especially for the Kilimanjaro Safari attraction and the DinoLand meet and greet. She also mentioned an ensemble for evening. Her goal was to be fashionable and comfortable for her trip. Well fashionable and comfortable about sums my style up. And I love a good challenge!
I created two different casual options that will hopefully beat the Florida heat, be comfortable, and still look fashionable for a day of walking, seeing the sights, and having fun! The final ensemble is a night look
Option 1:

Evening Look:
dress | earrings | blue bracelet | gold bracelet | wedges | bag
I’ve traveled a lot and tried to put that experience to good use here. Appropriate shoes are a must. I’ve heard great things about Sperry’s and used those in the daytime looks. As a mom, I like shorts (but not too short!) when I am with children. No worries about bending down or sitting on the ground and showing anything you don’t want others to see. A larger bag or crossbody bag is nice depending on if your children ask you to carry their things or if you want your hands free. Keeping all these in mind, I had so much fun brainstorming and putting together these looks! Now I can’t wait to take Claire to Disney when she’s old enough! Have a great trip Kendra!
