How do you all organize your clothes? I love our house, especially the living areas, but the bedrooms and closets are 1960s small. We have 3 bedrooms and currently I have the entire ‘master bedroom’ closet (if you can call it a master bedroom). It’s just standard size so I have to make the most of my storage. My husband has all his clothes in the guest room. It was rough enough clearing out the closet in Claire’s room before she was born. I am nervous about what will happen when we decide to add another little one to our family and have no guest room!
With all this in mind, I’ve really been trying to streamline my closet slowly. Heidi over at Literate and Stylish (check out her Feb. post here) goes by the one piece in, one piece out mentality. At the very least I do that. I’m not picky about which pieces go though as long as it is one for one. But if I see things that need to go I also get rid of them as needed. And their hangers. That’s really been the trick for me because if there aren’t hangers then there is no room. As long as I ignore the fact I just moved my extra hangers to the coat closet.
So how do you make sure there is room when you buy clothes?
