How to Wear Brown Leggings

I hope you are all having a great week! I’ve been trying to pull a few things together for the little birthday celebration we are having for Aveline on Saturday. She turns 3 on Monday and I can’t quite believe it. She told us tonight, “I’m not a baby. I am just a girl.” Oh. My. Goodness. I am not sure I can handle this. My parents and one of my nieces are coming over and while it will be a far cry from the party we had last year, I know it’s going to be so much fun!! Since it is a monster theme, Claire made a pom pom garland with eyeballs on the pom poms. We also have eyeball toothpicks for a fruit tray, monster tissue paper pom poms, and a monster cake. It sounds like a lot, but I just picked it up at the Dollar Tree and used things we had around the house. I can’t help myself!

This outfit is with a few of my new items from Aventura. Their Roma leggings are so comfortable! I love the elastic only on the sides of the waistband. Their thicker fabric makes it more like a ponte pant than a legging. I don’t have any chocolate brown pants in my closet and I’m excited to find some ways to wear them. They are a nice alternative to the traditional black leggings we all love. I don’t think I can say enough good things about this scarf either. It’s SO silky soft! I wore it with mynew moto jacket.
