This post took me a while to write. Sometimes I have a starting point and sometimes I don’t. Tonight it just wasn’t coming to me. I’ve got so many random things on my mind (I need to do my hip exercises for running, thinking about the new school schedule for fall, my husband on his first business trip since Covid, etc.), it’s hard to focus on fashion that I can’t even really wear so people see! Haha! I find myself dressing up for simple errands even more. Yes, I’m that person wearing a skirt and wedges in Aldis. No shame. Online shopping is a fun distraction from all the lack of socialization and nonsense, but then I want to wear the pretty clothes! Do you feel the same way? Some days I feel like a kid on a long car ride. Are we there yet? How about now? Can we just wear masks and get this over with pretty please?
The crazy humid, hot week we had last week has cooled down a bit and we are getting some incredible breezes that help. So I paired my new wedges from Noracora with white denim and a fun tie dye top. I love the wedges and the fun rivets on the side that give them a bit of an edge. They aren’t available anymore, but I found some similar ones in the widget below. The tie dye top is a great length, but I wish it was more of a cotton jersey. It has a sheen to it that just isn’t for me which is too bad.
I also wanted to thank you those of you who have made such sweet comments about my curly hair! I don’t fight humidity in the summer and typically let it go curly. My hair was always wavy, but has become more and more curly from high school onward. It has taken me a while to learn how to make it look its best (still a work in progress), but I’m loving it more and more!
