Now that we have officially skipped over spring and entered into solid summer weather, I finding it so much easier to motivate myself to get dressed. When I’m cold all I want are cozy and soft loungewear pieces. But in hot weather a tank top is a tank top so I might as well reach for a cute one! Prints and colors make more of an impact when there is less clothing in general, too. So thispaisley jumpsuit is an effortless, uncomplicated option. Pieces like this are fabulous because a few accessories can make all the difference! With pumps and a statement necklace you are ready for a long-awaited date night. But with flat sandals and rattan earrings you have a quick daytime outfit. I really like the tie at the waist with this one. I find it a lot more flattering than others I have tried!
I also wanted to take a moment and comment on the current fight against racism. After spending a lot of time this week watching the news coverage, reading blog posts, reading facebook posts, looking at all the photos posted of protests, and watching videos, I just want to say I hear you. I’m listening and learning so much. And I have so much more to learn. I’m trying to be better and trying to teach my children that, too. We have ordered some new children’s booksI look forward to reading to them with black authors, black characters, and that help support conversations on racism with my children. And I will continue to pray for love and acceptance of all.
