This week has been dragging a bit. I think it’s all the rainstorms that have been rolling through. I can hardly believe this week is Memorial Day weekend! It all seems to blur together since there will be no celebrations or parades, we can’t really go anywhere on a weekend trip, and all the sales are online! I’m hoping we can find a way to commemorate the holiday even if it is just with dinner on the patio one night and wearing our patriotic outfits. I just got this red and white floral camiand with a warm front coming in, I think it will be perfect for this weekend (use code Q4idodeclaire for 15% off the cami or anything else fromShein)! I added a navy bib necklace for some blue and it’s the perfect outfit for this weekend!
I also wanted to share a few items from Loft Outlet I ordered. I’ve shopped there a few times, but never ordered anything from their online store. Overall, I’m impressed. The prices are lower than Loft, but the style and quality is still there. And these pieces are all even lower than what they were when I ordered! Most under $15! Here is what I ordered and my thoughts.
I have to start with my favorite piece from the order! Ruffled sleeves don’t normally flatter my broader shoulders, but I don’t really care! It’s just too cute! The coral color will go with many different bottoms already in my closet for summer, too. And if you aren’t into coral, it comes in ivory.
The pretty color mix on this tank is SO pretty up close! It’s very lightweight, too. I am wearing a size small and would say it’s TTS. It does tend to be a bit boxy in my opinion, but with a half tuck, it’s perfection!
It’s always nice to have some solid color tops with interesting detail to make your outfits more eye-catching! That is what drew me into purchasing this top. The twist front detail is also very flattering! The one nitpicking detail I didn’t care for was the rib knit. I wish it was just a jersey.
I love this fun summer paisley print! The banded bottom really helps disguise any quarantummy that may have developed! It runs TTS. The only drawback for me is that it looked more like a soft pastel pink, but in person is more of a bubble gum pink.
Stripe Linen Blend Peplum Tank Top
I don’t typically go for peplum tops, but this one drew me in. It’s darling and has a nice, blousy fit. It dips lower in the back, too. One detail I didn’t notice online is that it has a gold metallic thread running through it. It doesn’t seem to have a tendency to wrinkle as much as other tops which is good for this momma!
So which ones did I end up keeping? I only kept the coral top, but writing this post has me re-thinking a few! Which are your favorites?
