It’s been quite the week! Late last week I went to the doctor because of a rash on my chest/stomach area that had been bothering me for a few days and wasn’t getting any better. I initially thought it was chafing from a long run, but that goes away in a few days. Well, I was diagnosed with shingles. Whomp, whomp. It’s thankfully fairly mild, but still itchy and painful. The meds have been helping and it seems like the worst is over. But I’ve been all about loose clothing, particularly on top until everything is back to normal! This sweater was perfect. We’ve been having unseasonably warmer weather lately and so I’m feeling all the spring vibes and going with brighter colors and sans coat as often as possible. The light blue, almost turquoise shade of the sweater is so pretty in person and it’s actually a lighter weight knit. I paired it with my pink vest. I only got it a few months ago, but I love it and wear it so often. I don’t think I can ever give up wearing vests, they are such a nice layer. Add in light wash denim and white sneakers, it was exactly what I needed as far as comfort and fun color.
