Anyone from the Chicago area catch some of the Chicago marathon this past weekend? I got to watch a little bit before we left for church service. Quite a few of the runners from the YMCA running club were running in it, too. What a beautiful morning for it! Watching marathons is always awe-inspiring for me. The elite runners are so amazingly fit and make it look effortless! Their paces for an ENTIRE 26.2 miles is faster than I can run 1 mile! I’m hoping I can get back to that one day. I’m nursing my ankle right now with tendonitis. Fingers crossed I’m back to running again soon. I swear I get the stupidest injuries that keep me from running! I pulled an ab muscle once in college. I fell down the stairs this spring, and hurt my hip stretching this summer. It’s like my body is trying to tell me something. Haha! Too bad I’m too stubborn to listen!
