I receivedthis dress last spring as a part of my collaboration with Aventura this year. It is such a cute dress and very comfortable to wear. It was a dress I wore quite a few times over the summer and now that it’s fall I don’t want to pack it away! Even though it’s sleeveless, there are still lots of ways to mix it up and layer it for cooler weather. Ruth from Ruthy Annie has the same dress and is teaming up with me to show you six fabulous ways to wear the Tristan dress!

Of course an obvious way to make it work for fall is to add a layer over top. This fun color block cardigan from SHEIN adds some color and is right on trend for fall (use code Q4idodeclaire for 15% off through 12/31). Switching up shoes to closed toe also helps to give off a fall vibe. I added other accessories like a hat and snakeskin belt for extra interest!

Most of the time you don’t think to layer a collared shirt under a collared dress, but it can totally work! If the collars are the same cut, then your collar underneath will lay over top and it creates a nice contrast. A plaid or gingham button up is perfect to use to add an extra fall touch! Add some boots and you are ready to go!

For my last outfit, I paired an Aventura turtleneck underneath with a reversible vestover top. Aventura’s Eden turtleneck is such a lightweight layer, but can keep you nice and warm! I couldn’t resist a reason to wear my new reversible vest either. I got it late summer after wanting one all last year! There is a great budget option on amazon, the only downside is it takes a few weeks to arrive. It’s worth it though! It’s a really nice quality and SO soft and warm!
Make sure you check outRuth’s poston 3 additional ways to wear this dress for fall, too! I love her style!
Last week’s most popular post was from Erica at Live Style Travel with her amazing bell bottom and crop top look! She is the cutest!
