I’ve loved being an Aventuraambassador this past year. My favorite pieces from their collections always come from their fall and winter line so when I received my fall box a few weeks ago, I dove in immediately! Let me tell you guys, it did not disappoint! There are lots of reasons I love Aventura. They make sustainable clothes, they are cute, so comfortable to wear, and the items have fun details, but are classic enough to last over the seasons. They are on trend, but not too trendy if you know what I mean. Now that I’ve had the opportunity to wear and wash (and wear again) several of my pieces I wanted to share what my thoughts were and what might be worth (or not worth) purchasing. I was gifted all of these items, but I’m really trying to share only honest opinions here. The Aventura items are not affiliate links either so it’s not like I’m making any commission if you buy anything.
Olivia Jacket-I have a few lightweight jackets that I love to wear each fall, but nothing in grey. I would say it fits TTS. I’m wearing a small. It fits me right at the hips. It’s a thicker cotton fabric that feels high quality. I love the military style of it!
Berkley Skirt– Quite a few of Aventura’s skirts caught my eye this fall! This has an adorable zipper detail and knit jacquard detail on the front and back panels. It’s super soft and has a nice stretch. It does run large so I would size down. I am wearing a small, but I wish I would have sized down. I ended up exchanging the other skirt I got for a size smaller. The only downside of this skirt is if your kids like to play with the zipper because it IS functional!
wearing Eden T-Neck
Eden T-Neck– I’m often cold and like those tissue thin tops to layer underneath other layers in winter. The problem I often have is they stretch out, loose shape, and are so thin end up getting holes quickly. This tee is just as thin, but has a closer weave fabric. It doesn’t loose shape and washes well. It’s a winner! Fits TTS.
wearing Kennedy vest & Ayla top
Kennedy Vest– I’m obsessed with puffer vests, but I don’t have any long vests or knit ones. It’s so pretty in person and hangs nicely. I think you could order a size down or stick with your typical size depending on how you want it to fit. It looks great with leggings and OTK boots!
Ayla Top- This top is such a great fall and winter staple! It can be worn tucked or untucked or tied in front. I like that it has a relaxed fit, but not so much that you can’t layer over top. I have a few tie front henleys I need to wear tank tops underneath because you lean over and can see straight down to your belly button! Not so with this one! It’s a nice weight waffle knit, too. Not super loose weave that gets caught on everything. I’ve been wearing it under the Kennedy vest and cardigans lately. I’d say it fits TTS.
Lyra Skirt– Another fabulous fall skirt! Knit skirts are so much easier to wear casually and much more comfortable! This was the other skirt I exchanged for a smaller size. I am very rarely an XS so I’d order a size down in this one! There was originally a blue color in this and I wish they made it! It was super cute! Unfortunately I don’t have a photo of this on because I am still waiting for the new size.
wearing Arlette cardi & Ayla top
Arlette Cardi- Can you have enough beige cardigans because I can’t! This cable knit two tone one is super soft and cozy. Even though it is two tone, it still goes with a lot. I think it just adds interest, it is still neutral enough that it doesn’t take away from any other outfit details. It does fit TTS.
wearing Tommi sweater
Tommi Sweater- I’ve worn this one a few times already. It’s just so soft I keep reaching for it. I found it fits TTS and is long enough to wear with leggings. I think it comes in a slightly lighter color than the photos. The only downside is that it tends to pill a little after a few wears, not too badly though!
wearing Harlow Zip Neck
Harlow Zip Neck– If I had to pick only one item to keep this fall from Aventura, hands down this would be it! It’s cozy to the nth degree and lined with VELVET! You guys, the entire inside is velvet! So soft and feels so nice on! The outside is very soft, too. I’d say it runs TTS. I’m in a size small here and it’s just long enough to wear as a tunic with leggings. The only downside is the outside pills after a few wears. I haven’t tried the sweater shaver on it yet, but I might soon.
wearing Krissy jegging
Krissy Jegging- This is the only pair of pants I’ve tried this season. I have a pair of their leggings and really like them from spring though. This style runs a little large so I would recommend sizing down. It is a straight leg jegging. On me, it is fitted through the hips and thighs and then from the knee down there is extra material. I prefer skinny fit so I think I might take them in on the legs so I can wear them with boots more easily. It’s a fun style with the side zip pocket that sets it apart from a regular legging. It is a nice, thick material, too.
Frostine Pajamas (top & bottom)- Who doesn’t love a cute pajama set? I honestly think I sleep better
in nice pajamas. This is cute and festive set, but not overly so. Heck, I could even see myself wearing this top during the day! It fits really well; that perfect balance of fitted and relaxed so it skims over lumps and bumps and just looks flattering.
Other notable mentions I’m eyeing-
Overall I’m very impressed with Aventura’s items. Their fall and winter items are so comfortable and cozy. Everything I tried seemed to be very high quality. I’ve had some Aventura items for years and they still look fantastic! If you haven’t tried, them you really should!
