This floral maxi dress from LOFTwas one of my gifts to myself last month. After buying it, I was actually compelled to clear out quite a few of my other maxi dresses. This particular one is far more timeless and comfortable to wear. It filled the need that 3 or 4 of the other maxi dresses hanging in my closet did combined! So often I would pass by the others because something didn’t fit or feel quite right or maybe they were too casual or too dressy. This new floral number was more versatile and felt like me more than the others I donated. So far I’m not regretting my choice at all! Have you ever done that? Had a new purchase inspire you to donate or toss other pieces in your closet? It goes to show when you have the right item, you don’t need a lot of others because that one item can fulfill many needs.
