I don’t own many tank tops or camis because I get cold easily and even if I layer them it isn’t always enough. And so many of them require strapless bras. When I’m lifting a 20 month old and bending down all the time, it doesn’t matter how good a strapless bra is, it doesn’t stay put with all that! When I saw this color block cami on Blooming Jelly, I thought it was so cute, but wasn’t sure about it. Miracle of all miracles, a racerback bra is almost perfect underneath it! I wore this on our car trip when we drove down to Missouri and you could barely see the straps. To switch it up, I paired it with an old pair of elephant print shorts from LOFT. Lily Pulitzer had a similar pair and I’ve seen lots of them on poshmark if you are really interested. Most times I pair these shorts with a solid color tee, but this color block cami is a fun way to switch it up a bit. Color block items aren’t a pattern, but can be a baby step to print mixing if you’ve never tried it before.
This leopard top (worn here) was the other item I received from Blooming Jelly and overall I’m impressed. Both items fit true to size (I got smalls). They appear to be well made and the quality is in line with the price. Shipping does take a couple of weeks since it comes from overseas so that’s the only downfall I can think of.
