Tweed is something I’ve always been drawn to. I think it has something to do with my tendency towards preppy clothing in high school and college. But tweed is a typically fall or winter fabric and it’s almost officially summer. So when I saw this short sleeved tweed top I knew I wanted it, but I also knew I didn’t want to wait until fall to wear it! I really wanted to see if I could make it work for summer, especially since it is short sleeved. So many times we can make typically seasonal items work other times of the year by pairing them with that season’s trend. White denim is classic spring and summer!
