The first time I wore this skirtfrom Aventura was earlier this past spring. We had an unseasonably warm day and we all had to take advantage by dressing for the weather. I pulled out this super soft skirt and paired it with stripes for a super casual vibe. This time around I dressed it up a bit by pairing it with a navy top and espadrilles. It almost looks like a dress since the colors and fabrics are so similar. Going monochromatic with a skirt and top can be a fun way to emulate a dress and remix your closet a bit more. A necklace would take away from all the pretty embroidery on the top so instead I added fun neon earrings. All winter long I pretty much stuck to my diamond studs, but now I am loving all the bright leather, tassel, and acrylic statement earrings! They add so much pizazz to outfits!
Last week’s most popular post was from Shauna at Lipgloss and Lace. That lucky girl got to take a fabulous vacation to Bora Bora and she looks absolutely gorgeous doing it!
