As a runner I typically think of tennis shoes strictly for the purpose of working out. But since the athleisure trend became popular, I’ve been growing my collection of tennis shoes that look good with casual outfits. It’s so refreshing to have a really comfortable pair of shoes to wear that is still really cute with an outfit! I recently received these blush tennis shoes from The Walking Company by one of their brands, ABEO.
I have a few pairs of ABEO shoes and there are so many reasons I’m a big fan. As a runner, I pronate. That means when my foot strikes the ground, the impact is primarily on the inside of my foot. Over time I get severe shin splints and even stress fractures. To counteract this, I have custom insoles in my running shoes to help more evenly distribute my weight as my foot strikes the ground during running. I’ve had these since high school and they help a lot, but they are made of hard plastic and aren’t very comfortable. They aren’t made for wear in everyday shoes. It helps to have arch support and cushioning in my everyday shoes to help absorb impact when available. ABEO is a unique shoe brand that has different insoles in their shoes to best support your type of foot. That means if you have high arches, low arches, or are neutral, there is a shoe that will feel best on your foot. And some of their shoes also come in regular or wide widths. These blush tennis shoes have been on repeat ever since they came in the mail late last month. I have worn them on an airplane, hiking, walking, and for errands. They are so lightweight and so comfortable! I got the wide width and the metatarsal insert with more arch support which helps redistribute weight to the ball of your foot. They feel like I’m walking on clouds!
Blush shoes like this can be so much more versatile than you think. I’ve worn them with jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, and joggers. Here are just a few ways you can wear them everyday!

I personally find that slim styles of tennis shoes like these seem to be more flattering. I know that dad sneakers are on trend, but I just don’t know if it’s a trend I can jump on right now. The lighter weight ones like these seem to be easier to wear and style. They look great with fitted skirts and dresses like my striped midi skirt (use code Q1idodeclaire15 for 15% off through 6/30 at SheIn) and I’ve even seen people pair them with a-line skirts! Tennis shoes like this can dress down a typically more dressy item for a casual look. They are also cute paired with a more casual or athletic wear like joggers or jeans! So which outfit is your favorite?
