I think this winter has been the winter of leggings. I’ve been wearing leggings more than ever and loving every minute! Just over a year an a half ago I only had a pair of black leggings that I would wear with a few different tunic tops I had. Now I have quite the collection it seems! From printed leggings to leather leggings, a girl has to have options! Just recently I got a couple of pairs of colored leather leggingsfrom Femme luxe I am excited to show you today!

If you aren’t quite into printed leggings, leather leggings in neutral or more subdued shades might be the way to go! These leggings are described as khaki on the website, but I would call the color more of an olive green. Sizing is European for these so I ordered a size 8 and would say they run true to size. I typically wear a size 8 in European clothing and these fit fine. Leggings tend to work better with my boots and booties because they tuck in so much easier. It’s nice to have an olive green leggings option instead of regular pants. This pair pairs really well with other neutrals and soft pastel shades. I think they will transition easily to spring!

I couldn’t write this post without including my black leather leggings. They are a staple in my closet and I love the way they really suck you in! Neon is really making a comeback and is perfect to brighten up these dreary winter days! I have gotten a few bright sweaters this year and They make me smile when I see them stacked with all my greys and blacks and other neutrals. I can’t resist wearing them again and again! This neon sweater from Femme Luxe is super cozy with a nice oversized fit.

Burgundy isn’t a neutral, but could almost be a pseudo-neutral it goes with so much! I have a pair of burgundy velvet pants that I wore so much when I was working! You can get some inspiration and ideas on what to pair with burgundy here. I wore these burgundy leather leggings with a neutral sweater tunic, but added fun leopard booties. These leggings fit the same way the other olive green ones do. I am wearing a size 8 and they fit well around the waist. I just wish they were a little more fitted in the knees and ankles. This tunic runs small though. I ordered a size up and it’s still pretty fitted.
So I’d love to know, have you tried out leather leggings yet? How do you like to wear yours?
