I recently received a few pairs of amazing, high quality and comfortable shoes from ABEO. I’ve shown their grey loafers and black mules and today I’m sharing their sock booties. As I have mentioned before, ABEO makes different kinds of supportive footbeds depending on the kind of support your foot needs. I have high arches and tried both the neutral and metatarsal footbeds and actually find both of them to be very comfortable and supportive, but I can feel a difference in arch support with the metatarsal line which is nice. It’s really nice when you are wearing even a little bit of heel like with these booties because it helps to better support your foot and distributes the impact when your foot strikes the ground.
So have you delved into the sock bootie trend yet? I had my eye on them last year and was excited to try a pair, especially as comfortable as these. Although sock booties aren’t too different from your run-of-the-mill black booties, they fit slightly differently by hugging your ankle much more. It might give you pause in deciding on an outfit to wear with them. So today I am showing you a casual and dressy look with sock booties!

First off I wore these booties with my new grey polka dot dress from Eva Trendsfor church. This is a warm dress made of heavy fabric that is made to be oversized. I was impressed by the quality, but alone it overwhelmed my frame. I added a wrap belt to give it shape and love the silhouette it created! You can get 10% off this dress with code LA10. There is a black version of this dress which I absolutely love. The polka dots are really subtle and I could see it being so versatile! Combined with black tights, the sock booties really help to elongate legs when wearing a dress. I can see wearing these a lot with skirts and other dresses!

Because I’ve been primarily in casual outfits lately, I wanted to make sure I shared a more laid back way to wear sock booties, too. Depending on your jeans, you can either tuck your pants into your sock booties or cuff them and wear them over top of the booties. If you are wearing very skinny jeans or leggings, wearing them inside your booties will help make your leg look miles long! But another fun way is to cuff your pants as I did. It creates visual interest, but can disrupt the line of your leg so you may want to keep that in mind if you wear it that way. Since I paired my jeans with a shorter sweater it wasn’t as much of an issue than if I would have worn a tunic.

So do you own a pair of sock booties? How do you like to wear them?
