Today is our last full day in Arizona. It’s been a wonderful time so far. The weather has been amazing so we have tried to spend time outside eating, at the pool, and doing other activities. When packing for a family of four including a baby, I had to really think light. Even thought they are small, babies really take up a lot of room in a suitcase. Aveline needed diapers, wipes, clothes, extra clothes, pool items, bottles, pumping necessities, bath things, stroller, car seat, and whatever else I can’t think of right now. That means not as much room for my husband, daughter, and myself. Thank goodness Claire is old enough to not need a stroller. Otherwise we would have had to push a double stroller through the airport and find room for it in the car! Although I did read up on them just in case (View the complete details here).
When I received the Avondale dress from Aventura, I knew it was exactly what I needed. For this trip, I wore it as a pool coverup, dressed it up for Easter, and dressed it down for a day of activities. A simple dress made of jersey material that resists wrinkle and is easily washed is a wonderful solution to the packing problem! I also brought this sunhatthat can be packed easily and it doesn’t ruin the shape. The hat has SPF 50+ which is wonderful against the Arizona sun. Between this hat and sunscreen I haven’t had any sunburn whatsoever!
