When Ada asked me to take part in a collaboration this week for American Heart Month I thought it was a wonderful idea! Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women and it is important to bring attention to that fact. In honor of American Heart Month we are all wearing red dresses. I am trying to teach my daughters healthy habits through exercise, leading an active life, and making healthy food choices. I hope that it leads to a lifetime of heart health for them!
The only red dress I had was this one (last worn here) so I tried to dress it down with boots and a denim jacket. My daughter Claire wanted to participate too and put on her red dress and jacket to match me. She is always excited when she gets to be on the blog!
