This is definitely the part of winter I dislike most. It’s grey and gloomy. All the sparkle of the holidays is gone. It’s often too cold to even attempt any outdoor winter fun activities. Some days our furnace can’t even keep up with the low temps. So what’s a girl to do? Keep buying all the cozy oversized sweaters! I found this sweater and these jeans on thredUP last month and was thrilled! I got this sweater in grey years ago and love the length and high turtleneck. The fair isle version is definitely cuter! Cozy sweaters in bright colors, patterns, with embellishments or other details is my number one tip for staying warm!
But sweaters aren’t the only thing that have helped to keep me warm lately. Cute accessories can help you stay warm and look cute, too! My husband loves getting me cold weather accessories like my hat and mittens. These were recent gifts from him and I love them! The mittens are fleece lined and the warmest I own. They are pullover mittens so you can easily pull the top part off if you need to use your hands for your phone. I do have smartphone gloves, but I find they aren’t warm and they often don’t work anyway. I am thrilled at how trendy beanie hats are right now because they are really warm, too. This beanie is double lined and keeps my head and ears nice and toasty. The adorable fur pom pom at the top makes it even better! It actually snaps on to make it easier to wash and you can even buydifferent colored pom pomsto switch it up!
