I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We celebrated at home with just the four of us (I absolutely love writing ‘the four of us’!). My husband smoked the turkey and I made a dip for an appetizer, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, pumpkin pie with homemade whipped cream. I think the best part is having all the leftovers in the fridge to enjoy! If you have never had a smoked Thanksgiving turkey, you are missing out!
Aveline is just over 2 weeks old now and so I am very much in that awkward ‘still getting back to normal’ phase after pregnancy. It took 9 months to grow her, so of course it will take some time to get back to my typical size. I have 2 pairs of jeans I can wear, but they don’t look great so I have been reaching for my favorite fur-lined pair of leggings and a tunic sweater or top most days. It’s a comfortable outfit option that makes me feel good wearing out of the house (on those days I actually get out of the house that is). I recently received this teal ruffle tunic from PinkBlush and it works well as an in between top for now. Their maternity clothes are amazing and now I am loving their non-maternity clothing too! The teal color, higher neckline, and overall fit of this top makes me keep reaching for it. It skims over any tummy whether that is from pregnancy or a little too much turkey and pie! This top is also incredibly soft and stretchy which makes it a dream to wear!
