At first I was a little unsure about how much wear I could get from ared plaid vest. As it turns out, quite a bit! You can see it with stripes here, chambray here, a graphic tee here, and a sequined sweatshirt here. Vests are such a great layer, especially for fall! They add so much dimension to an outfit and still let the top you are wearing underneath shine. I love my vests so much I did a post last year on50+ Ways to Wear a Vest that I might need to update because I keep wearing them! Outer layers like this vest, blazers, and cardigans can really help switch up your maternity wardrobe, too. I don’t often zip or button those items anyway so they work perfectly over my maternity tops or dresses to help mix it up.I actually wore this top last week with white jeans, but it looks so different with a vest and black leather leggingsinstead. It has proven to be a staple for me that I thrifted for only $5.
