I hope I don’t jinx myself, but temps around here seem to be slowly rising to be consistently in the 40s and 50s. There are even a few days on the horizon predicted to be in the 60s. Our April showers have begun and my May flowers are starting to peek out. We are a long way from bare legs, but those open toed booties on my wish list might actually be able to get purchased and worn soon! We took photos this weekend and I just stood outside enjoying the sunshine. It was such a nice change from the grey, rainy skies we have had the past month!
But onto this top. It came in the mail from Zaful last week and I couldn’t wait to wear it. When peplum was initially popular, I was not a fan because it was much more fitted. It just doesn’t flatter my figure. The style of peplum in stores now is more of a loose fit and I am now a big fan! Add some gorgeous embroidery and you have me sold! I did size up to a medium and maybe would have even considered a large just to get a little extra length. Otherwise I am in love! I added a denim jacket when I wore it to work Friday and plan on wearing it like this next Saturday when my husband and I have a date night planned!
