I’ve mentioned before that my work is pretty casual. When you are working with young children sometimes sitting on the floor with them, working with paint and glue, or outside with recess or car duty, pants just seem to work better. But with all that said, I still like to pull out my dresses and skirts. Otherwise when would they get worn? And when I have meetings with parents, I like to look and feel professional. So I try to compromise when I get dressed. I wear a skirt or dress, but dress it down with a more casual top or shoes. Typically that means wearing riding boots or in the summer, flats. This is the fourth time I’ve worn this skirt on the blog and the third time I’ve worn it with riding boots. You can see it with a buffalo plaid top hereor with a blue sweater and moto jacket here.
