First of all, these photos were taken a couple weeks ago. We don’t actually have snow anymore, but I am trying to clear out a few of my outfits that still have snow in them from my archives!
This sweater is one that I picked up a few years ago. A classic black sweater can be worn in multitude of ways. It’s great alone, layered over a button up, or underneath a vest or blazer. But it’s often not very special or interesting. Finding those elevated basics is wonderful. To be able to find a classic piece that has enough detail to catch the eye while keeping its versatility can be difficult. I ended up heading to the craft store and sewing the the jewels on to add the extra something to it. After about $15 and 1 hour of my time (DIY here), I had a piece that would have taken me much longer to find and one that I have worn so many times on and off the blog! I have worn it with a plaid skirt, leather pants for date night, green pants, and a floral skirt.
