Although I can only claim to being Scot-Irish, Ireland still holds my heart. So of course St. Patrick’s Day is a fun holiday for our family. My husband’s family has a rich Irish history and the company he works for was started in Ireland he has been there quite a few times for work and separately with me or traveling! While we don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (or St. Paddy’s Day for the Irish out there) in the American way with a full day of green beer, I do like to dress for the occasion with some green. We also like to make a traditional Irish meal for dinner. My favorite is bangers and mash, or sausage and mashed potatoes with onion gravy. I’ll definitely be indulging on Friday! Do you have any traditions for St. Patrick’s Day?
