Lately I’ve been on a Valentine’s Day kick and all about anything red and pink. Naturally thispleated velvet skirt from Makemechic immediately caught my eye. It’s so soft in person and the elastic waistband keeps it very comfortable. I am all about the velvet trend this winter. It’s a beautiful, rich looking fabric and its thickness helps keep you warm! Although I must confess, I am wearing running capris underneath for these photos! I paired it with a simple black sweater with criss cross detail at the neck. It only comes in ‘one-size’, but I would say it could fit small/medium easily. I really like the relaxed fit and stretch it has. My husband is going to have to take me on at least 5 Valentine’s Day dates so I get a chance to wear all these cute red and pink outfits!
